Guidelines for studying at the bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral level

The university intends to make a difference from the current general education system. We operate differently from current educational institutions. Examples are as follows:

1. Bodhisart University USA offers distance learning. It is not registered in Thailand. It is not a degree system used for applying for a job or finding a job. The university’s degree accreditation is a condition of each country that will be considered according to the policy of that country. The purpose of the university is to organize learning about goodness, beauty, practicing a good career, creating change, and applying Buddhist principles to practice. There may be academic knowledge according to modern science to accompany the learning as well.
2. For bachelor’s degrees, write a thesis, which is an explanation of the work the student has done until it has been successful. For master’s degrees, write a thesis, which is an analysis of the work the student has done, what factors led to its success. For doctoral degrees, write a dissertation, which is a synthesis of the work the student has done, what model or format it has, if others will follow, what are the main principles? Creating a written document for others, giving advice to others who will do the same, or presenting the important elements that made the work successful, etc.
3. Thesis title for bachelor degree may start with “The….” because it is an explanation of the written work, thesis title for master degree must start with the words “Factors….” Thesis title for doctoral degree must start with the words “Form of….”
4. When students apply for study, they must state what topic they will be writing their dissertation, thesis, or doctoral dissertation in order to determine the direction of their work.
5. BOU or BOU (abbreviation of Bodhisattva University) does not have any sub-programs, but rather uses the terms Bachelor of Social Sciences or Bachelor of Religion, Master of Social Sciences, and Doctoral of Social Sciences.
6. At the bachelor’s level, students must practice and do it until they are successful. Only then will they be eligible to take the graduation exam. MSU is interested in real work and real practice. It does not require students to come and listen to lectures or listen to instructors teach in the classroom. There may be seminars to increase knowledge. There may be study visits from experts and real practitioners.
7. Even though students complete their studies according to the curriculum, graduation depends on the successful implementation of the operation.
8. Some students may have experience and have successfully implemented it. These students may not have to create new work, but rather summarize the completed work as lessons learned, as work, and write a document to request credit transfer and assessment in the final semester.
9. The final examination for bachelor’s, master’s or doctoral degrees requires an oral examination or oral presentation. You can present a flip chart or a power point. Then, you submit a complete book. When the committee has reviewed the book, you will be announced as having completed your studies.
