The University aims to:

  • Develop individuals and society towards prosperity, founded on goodness and beauty, in accordance with religious principles and local wisdom. This is achieved through education, training, and research in short-term courses, undergraduate, and postgraduate programs.

The goal is to cultivate mature individuals with experience in accurately solving problems for themselves and the common good, who are aware of societal issues, and share responsibility.

  • Advance knowledge and local wisdom by supporting research and studies, as well as promoting the exchange of knowledge, perspectives, and opinions among academics and the general public interested in learning.

  • Provide academic services to the community, emphasizing the application of knowledge and technology within the educational sphere to serve and benefit the community, truly fostering national progress.

  • Instill moral and ethical development in students, and serve as a center for disseminating ideas and values that promote peaceful coexistence in the global community.

  • Build learning networks and a learning society for diverse global communities to jointly solve problems and develop society, while respecting the different cultures of each locality.

Partnerships for Creating Learning Spaces

The University aims to connect with learning space networks in the United States, Thailand, and ASEAN countries. These include alternative educational institutions, universities (Mahawitthayalai), various learning centers, and educational institutions under different names.

These collaborations involve managing education for the development of social entrepreneurship and stimulating learning in local wisdom, such as traditional medicine, arts and culture, nature and environmental conservation, and promoting community cooperation based on religious principles.

Furthermore, these partner networks have jointly raised funds to establish the university and provide support by volunteering in education management to foster learning among the public, leading to new solutions for the country through knowledge and wisdom.

The University intends to cooperate with people in various countries who wish to jointly organize education in the form of “Co-Learning Space For Cultivating Spirituality.” This aims to enhance learning, including broad cooperation in trade and investment, in a non-maximization-of-profit model. Each area can establish itself as a college for independent education, with shared degrees.

Partner networks can also propose new courses at all levels to enhance mutual learning, broadly benefiting learners regardless of their location.

Education Management by Affiliated Institutions

According to BOU’s policy, there will be affiliated institutions responsible for teaching and learning according to their own curricula. BOU will only handle credit transfers or academic recognition and will not manage education in those countries.
